Fox inks thesp McClintock

Actor makes talent development deal with comedy or drama angle

Fox has sealed a talent development deal with thesp Eddie McClintock, who was recently cast in Steven Soderbergh’s tentatively titled “How To Survive a Hotel Room Fire.”

Deal could be angled for comedy or drama; thesp, who will also be seen this spring in Roger Kumble’s “The Sweetest Thing,” is currently meeting with writers to discuss potential projects.

McClintock, who garnered his first break with a recurring role on the laffer “Ned & Stacey,” nabbed his initial regular series role on Fox’s “Holding the Baby.”

In addition he has guested on “Sex in the City,” “Spin City,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Felicity” and “Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane.”
