Emmy’s sweet on Milk

'Anne Frank' picks up 11 noms

PRAGUE — Milk & Honey celebrated the end of its first full season as a film production and servicing company with an unexpected wealth of Emmy noms.

Company is in negotiations with U.S. real estate company Buffalo Holding to finance a $1 million facelift and expansion of its facilities.

“Anne Frank,” which was produced entirely in Prague through Milk & Honey, picked up 11 noms including best miniseries. “Frank Herbert’s Dune,” up for three technical awards, was shot in Prague and serviced by the company.

“It’s a wonderful achievement for Prague as it strives to establish itself as a valuable production center in Europe,” said Tomas Krejci, Prague partner of Milk & Honey.Milk & Honey, whose head office is in L.A., wrapped shooting on “Blade 2” over the weekend.
