HOLLYWOOD — Cristian de la Fuente — who appeared opposite Sylvester Stallone in the 2000 action pic “Driven” — has inked a talent-holding deal with the WB.
Under the terms of the pact, Frog will develop a comedy or drama series for the actor or cast him in one of its other new 2002-03 pilots.
De la Fuente has just wrapped production on two features: John Carpenter’s “Vampires: Los Muertos,” which stars rocker-thesp Jon Bon Jovi, and the indie pic “Minimal Knowledge.” He also appeared as a regular on the first two seasons of the CBS drama “Family Law.”
People magazine named de la Fuente one of its “50 Most Beautiful People,” while Vanity Fair selected the thesp as one of its “Actors to Watch in the 21st Century.”
Deal was brokered by reps Diane Perez and Stephen Espinoza.
