Court TV has upped Marlene Dann to senior vice president, daytime programming.
Promotion will expand New York-based Dann’s responsibilities vis-a-vis the network’s daytime programming sked. Among her added chores will be to oversee production of weekly skein “Hollywood at Large.”
“Over the past two-plus years, Marlene has made our signature trial coverage even more accessible and informative and, in the process, attracted new viewers to the network,” said exec VP of programming and marketing Art Bell, to whom Dann will continue to report.
Before joining Court TV in 1998, Dann was exec producer on CNBC yakker “Charles Grodin.” Prior to that, she served as a producer at Lifetime Television. She has also developed and produced talk programming for CNBC and produced docus for PBS.
