Jill Franklyn, a vet scribe on laffers like “Seinfeld” and “It’s Like, You Know,” has inked with Benderspink Management.
Franklyn recently turned screenwriter: Her first feature, Albert Brooks/Leelee Sobieski starrer “My First Mister,” opened at Sundance to positive reviews. Christine Lahti-helmed pic will be distribbed by Paramount Classics in October. In addition, Franklyn’s comedy spec “Pink Coma Toes” was acquired by MGM/UA last year.
“We’re always looking for great TV writers and feature writers,” said Chris Bender, a partner in the management company. “Jill is one of the rare TV writers who can do both well.”
The Emmy-nommed scribe also has pilot deals with Imagine Television and producer Gavin Polone.
She continues to be repped by the Endeavor percentery.
