Over 600 people raised $200,000 at event

About 600 people attended the Westside Children’s Center benefit Sunday on the Sony lot, helping to raise $200,000. “So many poor people are buffeted by the chaos of poverty,” said WCC founder and exec director Lezlie Johnson. “We provide and connect them with the resources they need to grow healthy families.” Joining her are honorary event co-chairs Paula Reiser, Mark Johnson and Paul Reiser.
