$50,000 raised for animal refuge

More than 500 guests went on a safari to the Wilshire Ebell to raise funds for Singita animal refuge on Saturday. The org raised $50,000 to develop the refuge on land it already owns in Sylmar. Comedians Steve Landesberg, Paul Rodriguez, Buddy Hackett and Jeffrey Ross were among those performing to an audience that included James Garner, Suzanne Pleshette and Tom Poston and Pat Harrington.
