Rona Mink Smith, a longtime studio employee who worked in numerous capacities, was killed July 25 in an automobile accident in Beverly Hills. She was 61.
During her 20 year career in the entertainment business, she worked at a string of studios including Lorimar Telepictures and Warner Bros. in post-production, homevideo and licensing.
She also served as a development assistant for the Lee Rich Co. and New World Television and with the puppeteer Shari Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, screenwriter Richard Dana Smith, three sons, two daughters, her mother, a sister and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family suggests donations in her name be made to the American Cancer Society.
