Rachael Horovitz, senior vice president of production at New Line Cinema and a five-year vet of New Line and Fine Line Features, has ankled the company to join Revolution Studios.
Exec, who assumes her new position later in the month, will work out of Revolution’s Gotham offices.
Horovitz moved in January from Fine Line to New Line, where she has been overseeing Alexander Payne’s “About Schmidt,” lensing in Omaha, Neb. She will remain on the Jack Nicholson starrer as exec producer.
For Fine Line, Horovitz developed Kevin Kline starrer “The Palace Thief,” lensing via Beacon/Universal, based on the Ethan Canin short story. She co-produced David Mamet’s “State and Main” and was involved with acquiring “Human Nature,” “Before Night Falls” and “Besieged,” among other titles.
