'Wheel of Fortune,' 'Jeopardy' talent producer

Georgina Warwick, longtime talent producer for “The Merv Griffin Show” and the Griffin-created “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy” gameshows, died Dec. 16 at her home in Marina del Rey, following a bout with cancer. She was 54.

Warwick, a native of Warwickshire, England, opened her own public relations firm in London and later moved to the U.S., where she began booking guests for Griffin’s talkshow in 1980. She joined Quadra Prods. in 1992, booking celebrity guests and talent for both “Wheel” and “Jeopardy.”

She is survived by her husband, Michael Allan Parker, and her mother.

Services will be held Jan. 13 at the California Yacht Club in Marina del Rey at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations in her name be made to the Lange Foundation, 2178 Roscomare Road, Los Angeles 90077. The foundation rescues animals from animal shelters around Southern California.
