Andrew Curry Green

Andrew Curry Green, director of business development at eLogic, the Web company owned by Variety’s corporate parent Cahners, was among those who perished as the hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11. He was 34.

Curry Green joined eLogic as Cahners acquired the company in June 2000. He had been instrumental at pursuing sales leads and serving such key clients as NewEdge and Red Herring.

Prior to filling his position at eLogic, he served as director of product development at Cahners, advancing the online strategy for all electronics publications and supervising a team of product managers responsible for the execution of 40 Web initiatives. He joined Cahners in 1999 as product manager .

Previously he served as a senior account manager at Electronic Press Services Group, responsible for the development of Forrester Research’s Web site initiatives.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon.
