The winners of the second annual Latin Grammys will be announced Tuesday morning during a press conference hosted by National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences president and CEO Michael Greene and Enrique Fernandez, senior vice president of the Latin arm of NARAS.
The winners in the 39 categories will be announced starting at 10 a.m. at the Conga Room in Los Angeles. NARAS expects some of the nominated artists to be present but have not determined if there will be acceptance speeches or a ceremony. There will be no performances. Artists have not been notified if they are winners.
The Latin Grammys was scheduled for Sept. 11 at the Forum in Inglewood and was canceled several hours after the World Trade Center attacks. After a subsequent date and venue could not be arranged, the event was canceled. CBS was to have aired the kudoscast.
