IN-Motion, Olsen twins ink on CDs

Soundtrack, compilation deal will last three years

BERLIN — L.A.-based Dualstar Entertainment has signed German/U.S. entertainment company IN-Motion to handle worldwide licensing of soundtracks and compilations for Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Deal will last for three years; IN-Motion record label Trauma Records will handle the U.S. music market, while IN-Motion will take Europe. First product to fall under the agreement will be the soundtrack to the new Mary Kate and Ashley video “Winning London.”

Last year, Dualstar generated sales of about $500 million.

IN-Motion is a music, film and TV production and licensing company that owns U.K. sales outfit J&M Entertainment and a majority stake in Kirk D’Amico’s L.A.-based Myriad Pictures. Company is listed on Germany’s Neuer Markt exchange.
