BMG rearranges 4 exex

Conrad tapped sr. VP of country

Getting a jump on the typically brisk summer exec-shuffle season in the music industry, BMG Music Publishing announced four promotions in its country unit, led by the naming of Karen Conrad as senior VP, country music.

Based in Nashville, Conrad will take the reins on all day-to-day activities at the division, including signing and development of country writers and artists for BMG Songs/Nashville.

Exec, who reports to BMG Songs prexy Scott Francis, most recently was VP of country music.

Also getting kicked upstairs was Ron Stuve, who was named veep of the repertoire department at BMG Songs/Nashville.

BMG Songs/Nashville upped six-year company vet Chris Oglesby to senior director in the repertoire unit and Michelle Berlin to creative director.
