Artists record benefit

More than 70 Latino music stars, including Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Arturo Sandoval and Jon Secada, got together Friday to record “El Ultimo Adios” (The Last Goodbye) to benefit Sept. 11 charities.

Event was organized by music producer Emilio Estefan Jr., who co-wrote the Spanish-lingo song with Peruvian singer-songwriter Gian Marco. The artists participated live from Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Corpus Christi, San Juan, Mexico City, Madrid and Rome.
