'Satellite' launch set for noon, Sept. 25

XM Satellite Radio is back on track to launch its long-anticipated broadcasting service on Sept. 25, planning to begin its first broadcast just after noon from Washington, D.C.

Debut of the service — which will offer 100 channels of music, news and talk radio via the company’s twin satellites — was put off last week after the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.
