Michelle Pfeiffer, Sheryl Crow, Michael Crichton and Barbara Walters are among celebs signed on as presenters at the New York Women in Communications Matrix Awards.
Pfeiffer will present an arts & entertainment nod to PMK Public Relations managing director Lois Smith at a ceremony at Manhattan’s Waldorf Astoria, April 23.
Crow is set to give a broadcasting award to MTV Group prexy Judy McGrath; Crichton, a books award to HarperCollins Publishers president-CEO Jane Friedman; and Walters, an advertising award to Johnson & Johnson advertising veep J. Andrea Alstrup.
Other presenters will include Martha Stewart, handing the newspaper award to Wall Street Journal deputy managing editor Joanne Lipman; Nora Ephron, with the PR award for Scholastic Inc.’s senior VP of corporate communications Judy Corman; Hearst Magazine’s prexy Cathleen P. Black, with the magazine nod to Esquire VP-publisher Valerie Salembier; and “Today Show” reporter Al Roker, with the new-media nod for CNBC.com president Pamela Thomas-Graham.
