Touring contract includes pension, health, welfare
HOLLYWOOD — The Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees has organized the road crew for the touring company of Troika’s “Cats” and the crews for syndicated shows “Divorce Court” and “Power of Attorney.”
The union announced it had received voluntary recognition from the company producing “Cats.” The tentative touring contract includes contributions to pension, health and welfare and annuity benefits for the 12-member crew of stagehands, makeup artists, hairstylists and wardrobe personnel. “Cats” is set for a national tour through May.
“Divorce Court” and “Power of Attorney” are produced by Monet Lane Prods. and will covered by the VideoTape Agreement of 2000.
The union will rep 40 to 50 makeup artists, hairstylists, camera and wardrobe personnel.
