Foxworth has ‘Proof’

Castings

Robert Foxworth is headlining the national tour of David Auburn’s “Proof,” with Chelsea Altman playing the leading role that won Mary-Louise Parker a Tony this year.

The tour kicks off Nov. 27 at the Curran Theater in San Francisco after a six-week stand at the nonprofit Seattle Rep.

Altman’s Broadway credits include the recent revivals of “Death of a Salesman” and “A View From the Bridge.” She also appeared in “Collected Stories” at Manhattan Theater Club…

In other tour news, Len Cariou, Mariette Hartley and Hank Stratton will make up the cast for the road company of Michael Frayn’s “Copenhagen.” That tour bows in Los Angeles in November …

And the casting of Manhattan Theater Club’s “Wonder of the World,” starring Sarah Jessica Parker, is now complete. Joining Parker in the comedy by David Lindsay-Abaire (“Fuddy Meers”) are Marylouise Burke, Kristine Nielsen, Bill Raymond, Amy Sedaris, Jeremy Sisto and Alan Tudyk.
