‘Blue’ transfer set for Sept. 13

Lucas revival moves to Manhattan Ensemble Theater

This summer’s acclaimed Off Broadway revival of Craig Lucas’ 1984 play “Blue Window” will transfer to a larger theater and reopen on Sept. 13 for a six-week run.

The production, directed by Julia Gibson, played to sold-out auds after opening to glowing notices in July at the 99-seat 28th Street Theater.

It now moves to the slightly larger 140-seat Manhattan Ensemble Theater in Soho. The show’s seven-member cast remains intact, as does the producing team of Barbara Ann O’Connor, Michael Rafael and Cellar Door Prods.
