Road Grosses

NEW YORK — Road grosses perked up a bit during Week 49 (April 30-May 6), climbing to $15,070,939. That was a small uptick of 1.7% for the 23 shows on the roster.

“Dirty Blonde” began a run at the Theater on the Square in San Francisco, while “Fame” exited the chart as the tour closed.

Disney had good weeks for all its shows, as the two “Lion King” companies, “Beauty and the Beast” in Washington and “Aida” in St. Louis performed well. Latter show took $897,288 of a potential just over $1 million.
