Jon Lucas and Scott Moore have sold their untitled romantic comedy pitch to Warner Bros. Pictures, with Jon Shestack attached to produce.
Set in the world of high-priced divorce attorneys, story is about finding love in the most unlikely places. Deal was made by APA’s Jewerl Ross for low- against mid-six figures.
Project is one of several that Shestack has at Warners, including “Piano Lessons,” a comedy loosely based on the book by NPR’s “All Things Considered” host Noah Adams. (Daily Variety, June 7).
Overseeing the Lucas/Moore project is exec VP of production Jeff Robinov.
Lucas and Moore also wrote “The Perfect Man,” which is set up at Warner-based Jerry Weintraub Prods.
