Exec in charge of marketing tunes for use

Brian Lambert has been appointed vice president of motion pictures and television music at Universal Music Publishing Group.

Working out of Los Angeles, Lambert will be in charge of marketing the catalog for film, television and advertising use.

“Brian’s experience in both the licensing and creative areas of our business brings tremendous value to our team,” said Scott James, U’s worldwide senior veep of motion pictures and television.

Before joining Universal, Lambert was veep of catalog marketing at Zomba Music Publishing. He previously was senior director of film and television at BMG Music Publishing.
