U.K.’s FilmFour inks deal

FilmFour has agreed to a first-look deal with Tubedale Films, the production company set up by U.K. thesp David Morrissey (“Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”), ex-Polygram exec Carl Clifton and telecommunications expert Paul Morrissey.

It is developing a slate of projects, and two are expected to be helmed by David Morrissey.

FilmFour has already agreed to first-look deals with Pipedream Pictures (“Crush”), Andrea Calderwood’s Slate Films in production with Shane Meadows’ “Once Upon A Time In The Midlands,” and New York-based Hart Sharp Entertainment (“Boys Don’t Cry”).
