Spain’s KWA, Imcine link up

World Brief

Spanish independent sales agent Kevin Williams Associates has inked a deal with Mexican film institute Imcine to handle world rights on two films co-financed by Imcine: “Streeters” (De la Calle) from director Gerardo Tort, and “Violet Perfume” (Perfume de Violeta), helmed by Marysa Sistach.

“Streeters” was voted best pic by the international jury at this year’s Guadalajara film fest and star Luis Fernando Pena took the actor nod. “Violet Perfume” won the national critics’ prize.

KWA has an in-principle first-look accord to handle international rights on Imcine’s upcoming productions.
