Sarkissian finds ‘Insight’

Actioner set in 16th century China

Producer Arthur Sarkissian (“Rush Hour”) has acquired the rights to “The Third Insight,” penned by Dan Chung.

Action-adventure movie, which Sarkissian will produce with Robert Sparks, is set in Old China in the 16th century.

Sarkissian was a producer on “While You Were Sleeping,” “Last Man Standing” and “Rush Hour 2,” among other pics. He has in development “Christmas Robbers,” to be penned by Mathew Chapman, and he is also developing with Brett Ratner at New Line a remake of the French pic, “Le Cirque Rouge,” penned by Rich Regan.

Other upcoming projects include “Seven Day Soldiers” and “You Must Remember This,” the latter of which Sarkissian is producing with Martin Scorsese and Barbara DeFina.

Sarkissian’s shingle, Arthur Sarkissian Prods., recently appointed Evan Wender to its development team.
