HOLLYWOOD — Twentieth Century Fox has upped senior veep of business affairs Stephen Plum to exec veep. With his new title, Plum will continue to supervise business affairs for Fox 2000 Pictures, overseeing development, production and distribution deals.
“Not only is Steve a smart and deft dealmaker, but he has proven to be a committed and conscientious leader since assuming responsibility for supervising Fox 2000 business affairs,” said Greg Gelfan, exec veep of Fox Filmed Entertainment.
Plum joined Fox in 1997 as business affairs veep and was upped to senior veep in 1999. Before coming to Fox, he worked at Paramount Pictures first as an attorney in the studio’s legal department and later as Paramount’s business affairs veep.
Plum also has worked as private practice attorney in Gotham with firms Richards & O’Neil and Haight, Gardner, Poor and Havens. Educated in England, Plum attended the University of Sussex and the College of Law, London.
