Paramount Pictures and MTV Films have paid midsix- against high-six figures to pick up the pitch “Foreign Exchange.”
Pitch, being penned by Kurt Voelker and Bill Fritz, is a teen comedy about two guys who meet a female foreign exchange student and who are so wowed by her physical appearance that they decide they must go to her homeland in search of more like her, only to find out that she is a total anomaly.
Voelker, repped by UTA and Industry Entertainment, wrote the Charlize Theron/Keanu Reeves starrer “Sweet November,” for Bel-Air Entertainment and Warner Bros. He also penned a rewrite on “Two Princes” at Fox 2000 and rewrote “Miss Fortune” for Beacon Communications.
Project marks Fritz’s first feature sale. He is repped by WMA.
