Outrider picks up ‘Falling’

Slamdance alum picked up for theatrical run

Outrider Pictures will distribute Visionbox Pictures’ “Falling Like This.” The digital video production premiered at the 2001 Slamdance Film Festival and will go out theatrically early next year.

Directed by Dani Minnick, “Falling” is the story of an aimless girl who gets involved with a sweet, violent and unlucky older boy. Produced by Lulu Zezza (“Tortilla Soup”) and John Diehl, drama stars Brian Vaughn and Megan Wilson and features a score by Ani Di Franco.

Headed by John Manulis, Visionbox is developing comedy “Give It Up” with David Cross (“Mr. Show”), “Daisy Chain” with writer-director Jim Fall (“Trick”) and “Asylum,” to be directed by C.M. Talkington (“Love and a .45”).

Other upcoming Visionbox productions include drama “Charlotte Sometimes,” thriller “Voyeur” and skateboarding tale “Chronilogical.”
