New Line buys Stevens spec

'World' scribe in demand

Neal Marshall Stevens has sold his spec “Molly’s World” to New Line Cinema.

The psychological thriller will be produced by David Greathouse and Stevens’ manager, Judith Singer. New Line senior VP of production Stokely Chaffin and creative exec Cale Boyter are the execs on the project.

Greathouse is a VP at Stan Winston Prods., but he developed the script with Stevens outside of that deal.

Stevens, who is repped by Paradigm, most recently penned “Thirteen Ghosts” for Warners. He also recently completed two scripts for Universal Pictures, “Awake” and “Lost Girls.”
