“Don’t Say a Word” author Andrew Klavan has penned a thriller, “Magic Man,” for USA Films that will be directed and produced by Josh and Jonas Pate.
“Magic” is the story of a district attorney who believes he’s witnessed a murder. By the time he discovers he’s been hoodwinked, he’s also been incriminated.
Producing the project with the Pate brothers are Rockfish partners and Braxton Pope and Paul Biddle. Project’s development will be overseen by USA Films senior VP of production and development, Matt Wall.
Rockfish has a first-look deal with both USA Films and Studios USA. The Pates’ feature credits include “Deceiver” and “The Grave.” They most recently wrote, directed and produced the series “G Vs E” for the network. They are repped by Endeavor, as is Klavan.
