Hamer sings ‘Hymns’

Director Bent Hamer will shoot “Hymns From the Kitchen” on domestic locations beginning in January.

The Norwegian Film Fund has chipped in half the $2 million budget for the 1950s comedy, about Sweden’s Home Research Institute conducting a study on the kitchen habits of bachelors in a little Norwegian village.

“Hymns” will be co-produced by Sweden’s Bobfilm and France’s Slot Machine and will be released domestically by SF Norge.
