Hall leads to sr. VP post

Exec promoted to market research

HOLLYWOOD — Jeff Hall has been promoted to senior VP of market research for the motion picture group of Paramount Pictures.

Hall will continue to report to Arthur Cohen, president of worldwide marketing for the motion picture group, responsible for formulating and overseeing market research and working closely with the marketing and production divisions by handling testing, tracking and research screenings. Hall was formerly VP of market research for Par, a post he has held since September 1998.

“Jeff’s knowledge of market research has continued to be an essential tool within our marketing department. (We) are pleased to recognize him and his significant contributions with this promotion,” Cohen said.

Before joining Paramount, Hall served as director of market research for feature films at Warner Bros. beginning in March 1997. Before that he was an executive analyst with National Research Group for five years. He began his career at Young & Rubicam in New York, where he worked in advertising/consumer research for five years.
