Psychological thriller to be helmed by Ledoux

LONDON — Edward Furlong and pop singer Sharleen Spiteri will star in “3 Blind Mice,” a psychological thriller to be directed by Gallic helmer Mathias Ledoux.

Ledoux, who made his debut with French pic “En Face,” co-wrote the script with Mikael Oliver.

Pic concerns a man who witnesses the murder of a woman live on the Web and finds himself drawn into an investigation by a female cyber-detective.

Spiteri, who plays the detective, is the lead singer of the pop group Texas. Elsa Sylberstein co-stars.

Australia’s Beyond Films will handle international sales on the project, set to shoot in the U.K. early next year.

Pic is a co-production between the U.K.’s Une Souris Verte and France’s Kcraft & Co. and Les Films Caldera-De Fanti. Producers are Guillaume Godard, Carolyn Caldera and Jean-Luc De Fanti.

Canal Plus is taking French pay TV rights, and financing will be provided by Bennett Pozil of Natexis.
