‘Cool’ sequel will roll

Norwegian director Knut Erik Jensen, whose docu musical “Cool and Crazy” is closing in on 550,000 admissions domestically, will begin principal photography for a sequel, “Cool and Crazy on the Road,” in the U.S. this month.

The Norwegian Film Fund will contribute the missing $500,000 of the $1.1 million budget for the Barentsfilm production, which will lens mainly in the U.S.

Awarded the Nordic Film Prize at this year’s Gothenburg Film Festival, as well as two Amandas (Norway’s version of the Oscars) for film and documentary, “Cool and Crazy” is about the Berlevaag Male Choir.
