Keeping to its artistic legacy, the Woodstock Film Festival will close with the biopic “Pinero.”
Pic stars Benjamin Bratt as self-destructive Nuyorican poet-playwright-actor Miguel Pinero, whose turbulent life included the highs of multiple Tony Award nominations and the lows of incarceration at Sing-Sing. Film was written and directed by Leon Ichaso (“Sugar Hill”).
Woodstock has also added the docu “Moon Over Broadway” and rock pic “Quadrophenia” to its lineup.
Fest, in its sophomore year, runs Sept. 20-23 and will open with the David Atkins-helmed “Novocaine.”
