USC unspools student shorts

First Look Film Festival to run April 3-6

The biannual First Look Film Festival will screen 28 shorts by students at USC’s School of Cinema-Television April 3-6 at the Directors Guild of America.

Subject matter ranges from comedy to drama to documentary.

Each night of the fest, a program of six to eight films will be shown at 7:30, with a total running time close to 100 minutes. The four programs will be rescreened at USC’s Norris Theater on April 7 and 8.
