HOLLYWOOD — The world premiere of Paramount Classics’ “American Rhapsody,” written and directed by Eva Gardos, will open the sixth annual Nantucket Film Festival, which runs June 20-24.
“The Front,” “The Molly McGuires,” “Semi-Tough” and “The Magnificent Seven” are among the 20 feature films and 22 shorts to unspool at the fest.
Event celebrates the writer’s contribution to filmmaking with the writer-director award, the Tony Cox Award for Screenwriting, and a special tribute to Oscar-nominated screenwriter Walter Bernstein, among other kudos.
Two themed sidebars will be presented: Spotlight on New England and Featuring India.
