The Cairo Intl. Film Festival will celebrate its 25th edition with 121 films from 35 countries and 20 films in competition Oct. 9-20.

“The show will go on,” according to fest prexy Hussein Fahmy, despite travel fears following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the U.S. He said that thesps Kate Winslet, Danny Glover and Jeremy Irons are expected to attend to receive tributes.
