HOLLYWOOD — Production shingle Newman-Tooley has acquired F. Paul Benz and Steve Tomlin’s script “Blind Horizon” in a deal worth six figures.
Story focuses on a man found near death in the desert who once revived claims knowledge of a presidential assassination plot.
Pic will be produced by Newman-Tooley’s Tucker Tooley and Vince Newman. Management-production firm Benderspink is exec producing. Producers are gunning for a pre-strike start date.
Newman-Tooley is producing the New Line feature “Diablo,” currently in production. Benderspink is in post-production on New Line’s “Theatre” and Warner Bros.’ “Cats and Dogs.”
