LONDON — “Tabloid,” the debut movie by award-winning Brit TV director David Blair, will topline the Cannes slate of London-based sales agent Park Entertainment.
Park, returning to film sales after several years of concentrating on TV, also will preem the pic at Cannes.
Pic is a satirical thriller about a gameshow host who spins out of control. It stars Matthew Rhys, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, John Hurt and David Soul.
Park is the global sales agent for movies financed by Little Wing Films, a company representing a group of private investors. “Tabloid” is the first pic to come under that deal.
Park also is presenting four other British films at Cannes, all in post-production: “Crust,” “Phoenix Blue,” “Silent Cry” and “Hot Gold.”
