CANNES — The fourth edition of the Latin American Screens (LAS) will take place in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, Nov. 19-21.
Targeting sales to the Latin American TV market, and more especially Central America, LAS will pay flight and lodgings for 100 buyers from TV nets across Latin America.
Many of program sales advanced at LAS are docu and animation product.
Sales companies that have attended include BBC Worlwide, TF1 and TV France.
“What’s interesting about the LAS is that they afford a great opportunity to sell to very small territories, which we would never get to see at other markets,” said Eva Diederix, head of international sales at Spain’s Sogepaq.
