WB Online names veep

Guy Vardaman has been upped to veep of production at Warner Bros. Online. He will oversee the production of all Warner Web sites, as well as the transfer of traditional assets into digital files, construction of Flash elements and the digitizing of video files and streams. He will also supervise day-to-day quality control for all pages on Warner Bros. Online’s home site.

“Top-notch production values go a long way in creating a positive user experience and loyalty to a Web site,” said Jim Noonan, senior veep-G.M. of Warner Bros. Online, to whom Vardaman reports. “Guy’s varied and extensive production background has served our site and division well..”

Vardaman most recently served as a director in the original programming division of Warner Bros. Online, working on “The God & Devil Show,” “The 3-D Adventures of Superman” and the site’s live concert series. Prior to that, he served as a product manager, producer and then senior producer at Paramount Digital Entertainment of the popular “Star Trek” site. Before that, he held posts as manager, publishing and supervisor of creative services at Viacom Consumer Products.
