Warner Bros. Online and AmericanGreetings.com have inked a multi-million dollar deal in which the greeting card company will license select Warner Bros. characters for its online greeting cards that will be available on AmericanGreetings.com and America Online’s Greetings site, which the card company also manages for the Internet giant. As part of the deal, Warner Bros. will offer its own “wbwebcards” on its site using AmericanGreetings.com’s delivery technology. The multi-year agreement also provides targeted online advertising opportunities for both parties.
