Bam! to do ‘Reign’ dance for PS2

Cyberbiz Brief

Bam! Entertainment has inked a deal to develop Spyglass Entertainment’s actioner “Reign of Fire” into a vidgame for Sony’s PlayStation 2 console. The game will follow the movie’s plot, which pairs a dragon-slayer and a hardened survivor who join forces to battle fire-breathing dragons. The game is in production at U.K.-based development studio Kuju Entertainment and is due to be released shortly after the movie in early fall 2002. Pic, helmed by Rob Bowman and starring Matthew McConaughey and Christian Bale, bows next summer. Gamers will play either as a human fighting for survival, or as a fire-breathing dragon out to extinguish the humans.
