Williams switches to CAA

Unclear which clients will join her

This article was corrected on Apr. 22, 2002.

International Creative Management motion picture literary agent Jeanne Williams has departed the agency to join rival Creative Artists Agency.

Williams reps such clients as writer-director Gina Prince Bythewood (“Love and Basketball”); scribe Reggie Bythewood (“Get on the Bus”); writer-director Malcolm Lee (“The Best Man,” “Undercover Brother”); scribes Malcolm Spellman (“Sweet Thing”) and Lisa Jones; and the comedy writing team of Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson.

Williams first became an agent at Inter-Talent Agency, then joined International Creative Management’s television literary and packaging department after the two companies merged. She later joined ICM’s motion picture literary department where she has remained the last three years.

It is unclear which or how many of her clients will follow her to CAA.
