Licensing co. reports first-half revs of $12.3 mil

LONDON — German licensing company Splendid Medien reported first-half revenues of 13.4 million euros ($12.3 million) Wednesday, much on a level with last year’s figure of $11.6 million.

As last year, operating profits came in at a “slight plus,” according to a company statement.

Splendid, which owns 49% of U.S. indie production company Initial Entertainment Group, said it expects to meet this year’s revenue forecast of $47 million.
