Sony Corp. of America has tapped Washington, D.C. lawyer Nicole Seligman exec VP and general counsel.
Seligman will report to chairman- CEO Howard Stringer as a member of his senior staff. Her responsibilities include overseeing all legal, intellectual property and investor relations affairs for SCA.
“We are delighted that Nicole is joining our management team. Her wide-ranging legal expertise and wisdom will be invaluable in helping us navigate through the new broadband world,” said Stringer.
Seligman joins Sony from D.C. law firm Williams & Connolly, where she was a partner working on civil and criminal litigation for a range of clients including Bill Clinton and Oliver North.
