Navarre Entertainment Media has acquired exclusive U.S. and Canadian video distribution rights to the German-made series “2000 Years of Christianity.”
The 13-part multimillion-dollar series was produced by German pubcaster ARD, Munich-based Tellux Film and it-media. Series was shot by various directors including Werner Herzog.
Navarre will release the first two episodes next month on VHS and DVD.
“2000 Years of Christianity” is distributed internationally by Cine Intl., with U.S. deal handled by Carlton Entertainment.
