Promotion comes amid exec shifts

Move comes in a wave of exec shifts at Hyperion. Publisher Martha K. Levin just ankled the house to run The Free Press for Simon & Schuster.

In the wake of Levin’s departure, associate publisher Ellen Archer has been named publisher, and executive editor Will Schwalbe has been upped to editor-in-chief.

Miller oversees several imprints for Hyperion, including Talk Miramax Books, ESPN Books, ABC Daytime Press, Hyperion East and Theia.

Miller reports to Disney prexy and COO Robert Iger.

“Under his leadership,” said Iger, “Hyperion has published more than 1000 titles – of which more than 100 have been national bestsellers.”
